Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use InvestGame. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Service is provided exclusively for personal, non-commercial, educational, and entertainment purposes.

To access full gameplay capabilities, you must register for an account using:

• A valid email address, unique username, and secure password.
• Supported social single sign-on providers (e.g., Google or Microsoft OAuth).

You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with fraudulent information.

Once authenticated, users may access simulation gameplay features including:

• Creating customizable solo paper trading sessions with custom starting cash.
• Creating private multiplayer competition rooms and inviting friends via room codes.
• Executing simulated market buy and sell orders for real stocks, crypto, and forex pairs.
• Viewing live ranking boards, equity distribution metrics, and performance charts.

We reserve the right to refine, modify, add, or sunset gameplay features at any time without prior liability.

• No Real Cash Value: Virtual balances cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, exchanged, or converted into fiat currency or crypto assets.
• No Real Brokerage Execution: No actual securities, cryptocurrencies, or financial derivatives are bought or sold on real-world exchanges.
• Market Data Latency: Quotes and feeds may be delayed, aggregated, or simulated and must never be relied upon for live real-money trades.

All participants agree to maintain a fair, competitive, and respectful gaming environment. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Exploiting software bugs, pricing feed anomalies, or timing glitches to manipulate leaderboards.
• Using automated bots, scraping scripts, or macro clickers to gain unfair gaming advantage.
• Harassment, hateful remarks, abusive language, or griefing toward fellow players.
• Collusion or match fixing in competitive multiplayer tournament rooms.
• Attempting unauthorized access to system databases, server APIs, or other user accounts.

To protect community integrity, InvestGame administrators reserve the right to suspend, restrict, reset, or permanently terminate any user account or custom game room found in breach of these Terms, without prior warning or compensation.

You agree not to engage in any of the following restricted activities:

• Commercial resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or white-labeling of the platform.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting proprietary source code or algorithms.
• Introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or malicious payloads designed to impair platform infrastructure.
• Overloading server capacity through unauthorized high-frequency API polling.

All content, graphics, visual designs, codebase, database architectures, trademarks, and branding associated with InvestGame are the exclusive intellectual property of InvestGame and its operator. You may not duplicate, modify, publish, or distribute our intellectual property without prior written consent.

We strive to provide continuous, high-speed uptime; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. We reserve the right to take the platform offline temporarily for maintenance, security updates, feature deployments, or server migrations.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InvestGame and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Because all simulation games operate entirely with virtual, non-redeemable play currency, no claims of actual monetary or financial loss will be entertained.

Your access to and use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains our data collection and protection practices in detail.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Modified Terms become effective immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service following revisions signifies your binding agreement to the updated Terms.

You may terminate your agreement with InvestGame at any time by deleting your account. We may also suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in conduct detrimental to the community.

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Hungary (European Union), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary.

The Service is developed and operated by Barnabás Richter, a registered sole proprietor in Hungary.
